ON SCULPTURE:
Creating art in three dimensions is drawing from many angles at once. As you turn the form, you see a shape that from a different angle asks to be solved. As the form is turned again and again it is to be resolved until the image looks and feels right from all angles. It is a challenge and a pleasure that gives me an understanding of the beauty, subtleties, and dynamics of form. – MA 2020
